Bio
Chap has been an attorney in private practice since 1994. In 2007, after having served as a City Councilman and State Delegate, Chap re-entered politics as the Democratic challenger for the 34th State Senate seat. Over ten months, he knocked on over 18,000 doors – from Lake Braddock to Wolf Trap — and wore out several pairs of shoes. He has been a friend to the Realtors in his time as Senator.
