Bio
Delegate Sal Iaquinto was elected to serve the 84th District of Virginia in the General Assembly on November 8, 2005. The district encompasses a large section of eastern Virginia Beach, from Chesopeian Colony in the north to Courthouse Estates on the south.
Delegate Iaquinto was first elected in 2005 and has been appointed by the Speaker of the House to three important committees: Courts of Justice, General Laws, and Counties, Cities and Towns, and is now the Chairman of the FOIA and Government Procurement Subcommittee of General Laws. His work on these committees and the bills that he introduces reflect his interest in protecting the public from dangerous criminals, strengthening private property rights in the Commonwealth, and safeguarding our tax dollars for future transportation projects and other core government services.
